High resolution SPECT brain imaging

Brain Function Imaging utilizing SPECT is recognized as a highly effective evaluation tool in cases of
Stroke, Alzheimer's Disease, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Seizure Localization. SPECT is a nuclear medicine study that evaluates brain blood flow and brain activity patterns.

Early detection for Alzheimer's disease

Brain Function Imaging can identify the presence of Alzheimer's disease 3 to 6 years before the onset of symptoms. With early detection, current anti-Alzheimer's drugs are showing promise in their ability to arrest progression. SPECT Brain Imaging is also one of the best tools for evaluating functional deficits from head trauma and will often show mild to moderate TBI when MRI and CT scans do not.
